By using dermal fillers, liquid rhinoplasty effectively smooths out bumps on the nasal bridge, increases volume to the bridge of the nose to develop nasal profile, and subtly lifts the tip of the nose to treat a hooked or droopy nose tip.
Dr Owen uses topical anaesthetic cream to numb the injection site, and a fine needle is used to insert small aliquots of dermal nose filler onto the bone or cartilage. The filler is then moulded, and a successful treatment can take around 15-30 minutes.
We only use high quality dermal fillers for our treatments including Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Lyft, and Teoxane Ultra Deep. The nose is a high blood supply area of the face, and so an extensive understanding of anatomy becomes key to a successful treatment.
Dr Owen Thomas has undertaken advanced training with Dr Ayad Harb, a consultant cosmetic surgeon that specialises in rhinoplasty. He also has over 20 years of experience as a medical professional, and has a Master’s Degree in aesthetic injectable treatments. With successful completion of the Aesthetic Intelligence Fellowship, you are guaranteed to receive expert treatment when you book with Infinity Aesthetics.

Using high quality dermal fillers, liquid rhinoplasty can completely change and enhance the shape of your nose. Typically, our non surgical rhinoplasty treatments smooth out bumps and improve the aesthetic shape of the nose. We are also able to treat noses that appear droopy by elevating the nose tip slightly.
The premium hyaluronic acid in our dermal nose fillers is injected underneath the skin to provide a natural look that usually lasts for over 12 months. Muscle-relaxing injections can also be used in conjunction with dermal nose fillers to help treat dynamic nose tip drooping.
Given that hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occuring substance, side effects of liquid rhinoplasty treatments are normally minimal. Mild swelling and occasional redness of the skin may occur following injections, however these symptoms usually subside within a few hours.
Dr Owen uses a number of techniques to minimise the occurrence of side effects such as expert anatomical knowledge, and using dermal nose fillers that can break up the substance and reverse the effects of blood vessel blockages.
Any pain can be minimised by the use of a strong local anaesthetic cream. The most pain that our patients mention is the sensation of a pinprick.
Most patients will require a top-up treatment every 1 or 2 years. However, the nose won’t return to its original state for many years following treatment. By using a reversing filler dissolving injection (hyaluronidase), the nose can successfully be reverted to its original position.
Dr Owen uses a very fine needle to complete the eyebrow treatment, and so the injections are not normally painful. Using techniques such as cooling, vibration, local anaesthetic and precision, Dr Owen is able to minimise discomfort during treatment.
