Body Condition
The hands are a part of the body that can show a person’s age, often neglected compared to the face.
There are multiple reasons for this, including loss of the fatty tissue leading the bones to become more prominent alongside blood vessels, age spots and skin laxity.
There are various ways to treat the signs of ageing, including targeted injection of dermal filler (Radiesse®) into the back of the hand with local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort leading to a rejuvenated appearance.
This is particularly helpful in conjunction with radiofrequency to tighten the soft tissues and resurface the skin – we now have Morpheus8 treatment which allows us to perform a comprehensive rejuvenation programme for most body areas, including the hands. This can lead to a very long-lasting improvement in appearance.
