You can book your aesthetic consultation experience online (you can cancel or rearrange too) or over the phone.
Owen is happy to answer queries on social media, and we can arrange a video consultation if that’s better for you.
We want to make the experience as simple and enjoyable as possible, so we can help as many people look and feel their best with aesthetic full-facial treatment.
At the moment we are offering aesthetics consultations without a deposit. Medical consultations with a full-facial assessment with Owen are free of charge if you have any treatment performed.
At present, with COVID-19 concerns, we prefer clients to attend alone unless being accompanied is essential. Also, we ask that people under the age of 18 don’t attend for insurance and ethical reasons.
Owen’s normal policy is not to encourage aesthetic treatments (such as an 8-point) liquid facelift to be done at your first consultation with us unless you regularly have had similar treatment before, consistent with guidance from the General Medical Council.
It is vital that you have time to understand and absorb the information we provide, and that you do not feel rushed to make a quick decision about aesthetic treatment.
Owen will talk to you about the causes of any changes or concerns you have seen in your face, whether it be wrinkles, pigmentation, hollow areas or loss of support and structure. He will discuss treatment options like dermal fillers, Profhilo, anti-wrinkle and fat-dissolving injections and how to use these for the optimal result. A treatment plan will be created for your individual needs and long-term goals, helping to gradually obtain the best result and easily maintain this over time.
With the belief that “beauty is in the details,” Owen carefully examines each person with the help of high-definition digital photography to plan and record results from the aesthetic treatment.
We ensure that you maintain a natural yet enhanced look which is designed to suit you. This ensures you feel a confident yet better version of yourself.
Photography is essential to assess progress, and without photos, we cannot accept patients for treatment. Images are kept encrypted on medical software as with all medical notes.
Assessment and treatment are never rushed; Owen does everything possible to ensure a visual outcome that enables our patients to look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.
Dr Thomas believes that nothing should stand in the way of you feeling and looking like the best version of yourself. He offers two options for virtual consultations – a pre-consultation using photos or a video meeting.
This ensures that people living outside of Swansea, those with time restrictions, or those who prefer the privacy of an online assessment, can receive a preliminary evaluation. A face-to-face clinical examination is needed before using injectable treatments.

This process is simple – first, fill out the form and attach 2-4 photos and send it to us (we use GDPR-compliant encryption for these uploads).
After reviewing the information, we will respond by email, explain how we can help and schedule a time to meet or speak with Dr Thomas.
To get the best out of this process:
You will have a real-time consultation over video through our specialist software, to demonstrate any cosmetic concerns and get an accurate idea of your personalised aesthetic treatment plan.
Dr Thomas will have an in-depth discussion with you about your primary aesthetic concerns, assisting you in figuring out your short-term and long-term cosmetic goals.

Owen only uses premium medical-grade dermal fillers in his aesthetic clinic in Swansea together with other treatments such as wrinkle-relaxing injections, fat-dissolving injections (Belkyra or Desoface) or Profilho.
Owen never rushes treatment and uses cooling and vibration with local anaesthetic in fillers to reduce any discomfort from the procedures.
You can ask questions at any time – we know that prospective patients often feel very nervous about starting treatment and it’s reassuring to have a patient doctor who can treat safely and comfortably with confidence.

Our care doesn’t stop when you leave. Owen is contactable 7 days a week via Instagram, Messenger, telephone, and email for any questions you might have relating to your aftercare. In the unlikely event of an emergency following treatment, he is willing and able to see patients out-of-hours in his clinic.
It is essential to provide follow up to assess your progress, take further photographs and finalise your new look, so Owen routinely will see patients 2 weeks later, ideally in person but by video for those living far away (using our bespoke secure video system).
After dermal filler injections we often schedule further appointments over months, to carefully layer and hone the final appearance as part of the aesthetic treatment plan.
During this visit, Dr Thomas will:
Immediately after treatment, you can experience some swelling depending on the area and how superficial the injection was. This typically subsides in 2 to 4 days, but can last several weeks (usually minimally). Knowing this, we therefore plan a second visit to evaluate your results. Owen will then assesses your actual results and any areas that can be further refined.
Layering filler treatment creates the most natural result – it is essential to resist the temptation to max-out any filler treatment in 1 visit. Over-injecting produces an obvious, unnatural result.
When your next treatment is due, we will automatically send an email and text reminder so you don’t have to keep track.
