Treatment
Achieve the perfect lip shape with our Julie Horne lips treatment. This technique uses supporting injections to lift and sharpen the borders of the lips, adding volume and reducing asymmetries.
Using vertical injections, the Julie Horne lip treatment provides structure to lips by a process known as ‘fencing’. Through this process, vertical line filler is injected into the superficial layer of the lip tissue, boosting the definition of both the top and bottom lip.
Our London clinic is proud to offer lip treatments that will boost your confidence and enhance facial symmetry with natural-looking results.

Whilst horizontal injections are a widely used technique for giving lips a more full and structured appearance, vertical injections of lip filler can be more effective at defining lip border and definition. This is particularly important for the middle of the lip, where horizontal injections do not always deliver optimal results.
By using minimal amounts of dermal fillers injected into precise locations of the lips, we can minimise swelling while simultaneously improving the results of the treatment. Julie Horne lips have become popular due to the fantastic results that are visible immediately after receiving the injections, and the minimal aftercare and or downtime.
Before any treatment can take place, Dr Owen will perform a detailed consultation to review your entire medical history. During this appointment, a bespoke plan for delivering the optimal results will be curated. A tailored treatment plan may involve using a number of methods to provide you with a rejuvenated and natural-looking appearance. Contact us today to find out how we can help to give you a youthful and radiant facial beauty.
Julie Horne lips refer to a specific type of lip filler treatment that utilises vertical filler injections as opposed to the standard horizontal injections that are used during regular lip filler treatment. This method of treatment was invented by Julie Horne, an expert aesthetic clinician.
Whereas normal lip filler treatments use dermal fillers that are injected horizontally, this method of treatment is not always as effective as Julie Horne lip treatment. This is because injecting dermal fillers vertically provides enhanced definition and structure to the lips, and defines lip borders to enhance facial beauty. Standard lip filler treatment is less likely to deliver such dramatic results.
You can expect Julie Horne lips to last around 9-12 months. This time can be increased with regular follow-up appointments, allowing dermal fillers to provide sustained natural beauty.
The cost of treatment will be entirely dependent on how much dermal filler is required to deliver the desired result, as we charge by the quantity of filler used during treatment. To find out more about the cost of treatment, take a look at our price list.
Due to the use of numbing cream, expert precision and hyaluronic acid fillers, any downtime following treatment is greatly reduced. Lips can be swollen for a day or two, so avoiding important events at this time is recommended. Common side effects of the treatment include mild bruising, itching, swelling and tenderness at the site of injection. These effects should pass after a few days.
