In the heart of London, Dr. Owen Thomas is redefining the art of aesthetic enhancement with his expert approach to dermal filler lip treatments in London.
Recognised for his finesse and unwavering commitment to natural beauty, Dr. Owen offers a bespoke service. His philosophy is simple: to enhance your innate beauty without overfilling or creating artificial-looking results. Also, he often uses ultrasound to ensure safety which is key in London aesthetic treatment.
This approach ensures that every treatment is as unique as the individual, steering clear of fleeting trends and instead, focusing on timeless beauty.
Dr. Owen’s expertise in aesthetic medicine is not just about the application of lip filler in London; it’s about understanding the complex anatomy of the lips and how subtle enhancements can dramatically elevate one’s natural beauty.
His comprehensive assessment considers the symmetry, proportion, and balance of the facial features, ensuring that the results not only enhance the lips but complement the entire face. This meticulous attention to detail is what sets Dr. Owen apart, making him a trusted name for lip filler in Central London, in our new clinic at the bottom of Harley Street in Cavendish Square for those seeking aesthetic perfection.
Juvederm fillers have a base of hyaluronic acid, and are specifically designed for targeting areas such as the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth. As Juvederm has a hyaluronic acid base, the concentration can be varied to deliver the desired results. Juvederm fillers work by stimulating the production of collagen in the skin, resulting in firmer and smoother skin.

Creating a natural look using lip fillers requires expert care and precision. Dr Owen is able to provide his clients with a youthful, attractive and radiant appearance, always striving to avoid an over-treated image.
Whether you are looking for more fullness in your lips, or if the tissue around your lips requires restoration treatment, Dr Owen can help to enhance your beauty with a tailored service.
Dr Owen is an expert at aesthetic treatments, with a Master’s Degree in injectable aesthetic treatments, over 20 years experience as a medical professional and successful completion of the Aesthetic Intelligence Fellowship. Using an approach modified from Europe’s top lip injector, Julie Horne, you can be sure that you will receive the best results for your lip filler treatment.
Understanding that each client has unique anatomical features and aesthetic desires for lip filler in London, Owen is proficient in a variety of application techniques, including both the cannula and needle methods. This allows him to tailor the treatment to each client’s specific needs, ensuring optimal comfort, minimal bruising, and exquisite results.
Cannula Technique: Ideal for those seeking a gentler approach, the cannula technique involves the use of a blunt-tipped cannula to administer the filler. This method allows for smoother filler placement, reduced risk of bruising, and enhanced safety. Dr. Owen often recommends this technique for clients with delicate lip anatomy or those desiring a more subtle enhancement.
Needle Technique: For clients seeking more precise augmentation or definition, the needle technique offers unparalleled accuracy. Dr. Owen’s expert application ensures minimal discomfort with stunning, natural-looking results. This technique is particularly beneficial for defining the lip borders or adding volume to specific areas.

The eight dimensions of an 8-D lip treatment are:
So that you are confident in the approach of the treatment, all of these dimensions are assessed using photography and annotations. Sometimes, it will take two sessions to ensure that appearance is built gradually, and different concentrations of filler may be used.
Dermal fillers in lips tend to last up to a year due to the soft and malleable filler. During your initial consultation, photos of the desired look will be a great tool to ensure that you receive the treatment you are expecting. Over time, your lips will return to their original appearance, and so follow-up refinement sessions can help to maintain your rejuvenated appearance for multiple years.
Common side effects of injection-related treatments include bruising, swelling, itching, pain, and tenderness of the skin around the injection site. Using expert technique, trustworthy filler products and microcannulas, these side effects can be reduced but not entirely eliminated.
In rare cases, you may experience a blood vessel blockage, however great care is taken to avoid this. Our dermal fillers can be reversed using an enzyme to break up the bonds between molecules.

Our dermal lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid. This makes the fillers temporary and reversible, whilst also adding to the skin’s naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid. Once injected, dermal fillers attract water which boosts the volume of the local area.
Our dermal fillers may be customised to suit your custom requirements, whether it be to improve lip contours, restore volume, smooth emerging lines or balance asymmetry.
The cost of your treatment will depend on how much dermal filler is required to create the desired look. A personalised treatment plan is developed for each patient that Dr Owen works with. Take a look at our price list for more information.
If necessary, Juvederm lip fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Only hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane and Belotero can be dissolved. While hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occuring substance, the version used in fillers is synthetic. Fillers made from anything else are not reversible.
By receiving Juvederm fillers from a reputable supplier, you can be sure that you are receiving a high quality product. This will increase the success rate of treatment, and will also reduce the likelihood of significant side effects.
Juvederm fillers are different to other dermal fillers, as Juvederm uses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occuring substance, to combine with the water in the skin to restore tone and elasticity. Juvederm fillers also contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, which reduces the discomfort that patients experience during treatment.
Testimonials
Owen is a true professional, not like the other lip filling beauticians in Swansea – he takes a full history, assesses you with measurements and photos, coming up wit a treatment plan that I was able to consider. He made sure my treatment was suitable for me and the follow up was great too. Highly recommended!
