Face and Body Treatment
Doctor Owen Thomas performs the renowned long-lasting treatment for skin tightening, resurfacing and fat reduction
Owen is delighted to introduce Morpheus8, a powerful and deep subdermal fractional micro-needling radio frequency (RF) technology. It is a renowned treatment that gives superior skin tightening, lifting, and contouring.
Morpheus8 can be combined with other treatments such as dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and Forma (an external radiofrequency device to maintain the effect long-term).
The ageing process is unavoidable; however, it doesn’t have to be inevitable. There are many anti-ageing solutions out there, including radiofrequency treatment for skin tightening. This procedure uses radiofrequency energy to tighten your skin by heating the dermis and stimulating collagen production.
As a result, the skin appears slimmer, smoother, and more elastic. If you’re interested in learning more about this fantastic solution for sagging skin, keep reading!

The ageing face and body are transformed into a smoother and contoured look by multiple tiny needles penetrating deep into the skin or fat. The depth of penetration of the needles depends on the part of the body being treated and whether fat remodelling, skin rejuvenation, or a combination is sought. Because of the technology, energy is less likely to cause harm to the overlying skin in patients with darker skin.
Wrinkles, acne scarring, and definition loss on the face or other parts of the body can be treated. The most common areas to be treated are the lower face and neck.
Based on the severity of the skin changes and the results desired, you may require up to three sessions.
If you want to improve the appearance of your skin and tighten it, radiofrequency skin tightening may be the non-surgical treatment you’ve been looking for. Radiofrequency treatment is a safe and effective solution for skin tightening that provides long-lasting results and can be done on various parts of the body. With so many benefits to gain from radiofrequency skin tightening, it’s understandable why this treatment has gained so much popularity in recent years.

The Morpheus8 is a fractional RF device that treats fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and skin tone by delivering a customisable depth of penetration and energy throughout subdermal tissue. The subdermal tissue is coagulated and contracted using 24 pins that penetrate into it.
The outcome is a tightened, rejuvenated area of skin, suitable for all skin types. The dermis is not damaged by this procedure, which is an improvement on some resurfacing techniques that cause thermal damage. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is also minimised with this technology, which is an added benefit.

A radiofrequency machine heats the skin to a certain temperature by sending electromagnetic energy into it during radiofrequency skin treatment. Skin tightening is accomplished when the heated skin tissue expands and contracts as it cools. Radiofrequency skin tightening is also known as tissue remodelling.
Because of the unique design of Morpheus8, the radiofrequency energy is localised within a very small area. This limits the spread of the energy to other body areas or backwards along the pins so that damage to the skin itself is non-existent.
Before treating you, Owen will ask you questions about your medical history to ensure you are suitable for the treatment, examine the areas to be treated to determine treatment sites, explain the procedure, tell you about post-treatment care, list all possible complications, and tell you how to avoid them. He will then apply double-layer numbing cream to ensure the procedure is as pain-free as possible.
The Morpheus8 applicator will be used 1-3 times to treat areas, coagulating fat and constricting connective tissue and fat to thicken and correct lines and wrinkles.
It can be used as a standalone procedure or in conjunction with dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, or injectable skin boost therapies such as Profhilo.
The 24 pins on the applicator will penetrate into the subdermal tissue, coagulating fat and contracting tissue and fat to thicken and correct lines and wrinkles.
Immediately after treatment, there will be redness of the skin but in most cases this subsides over the course of several hours and most patients can continue with their normal daily activities, although some choose to have the procedure on a day where they are not around friends or work colleagues.
The treatment starts to take effect over the following 1-4 weeks and it is usual to have a followup appointment around this time to judge whether any further sessions would be needed.
Side effects from the procedure are minimal and are mainly redness with slight swelling over the first few hours. It is possible to get the redness lasting longer in some people.
Bruising is always a possibility when the skin was penetrated, but this is mild in most cases, as a the needles themselves individually are very small.
There is a very small potential for hyperpigmentation in patients of dark skin but the potential is minimised by the special coated pins that are used in Morpheus8.
The final results from the treatment course will take up 6 months to be fully evident.
Many patients see results much earlier than this but we always advise to be patient!
From Kim Kardashian to Amanda Holden, a host of celebrities swear by Morpheus8 which has become so popular over the last couple of years – you can now get it in Swansea without having to travel to London!

Face Conditions
Marionette lines are the vertical lines that extend from the corners of the mouth down towards the chin, and they are a common concern as we age. These lines can create a downturned appearance, often making you look older or more tired than you actually feel. The primary underlying cause of marionette lines is the loss of volume in the prejowl area, which is the region on either side of the chin. As we age, the natural fat pads that once supported this area diminish, leading to sagging skin and the formation of these deep lines.
At Infinity Aesthetics in London, we understand the importance of addressing the root cause of marionette lines—volume loss. That’s why we offer advanced non-surgical treatments, including the use of premium dermal fillers, to effectively replace the lost volume in the prejowl area. By doing so, we not only soften the appearance of marionette lines but also restore a more youthful and balanced facial contour.
